Biography

Art has become my new journey in life. Over the years my interests focused on dynamic activities such as; vertical rock climbing, sailboat, and sports car racing.
Art is an activity void of external influences and has become a new focus of expression. Art is relaxation and allows me to explore my more creative abilities.

Saturday Night Fever Canyon Light

My inspiration and creativity come from various life experiences and worldwide travel. My work shows both simple and complex styles to evoke the emotional response from the viewer. I paint what moves me, either by subject or color. Sometimes I have a vision and sometimes the result comes from emotion.

The Thinker

Largely self-taught, my artwork began as a hobby in 2011 and has evolved to the professional level. Work is generally considered as an impressionist. Work is with acrylic paints mostly on canvas, with some pieces on acrylic or glass panels, and currently adding photography to my portfolio.

In addition to the US, my work has been collected by individuals from Brazil, Argentina, China, Chile, Canada, and South Korea. A special piece was donated to the Bay City, Texas VFW hall commemorating Texas vets from the Vietnam War.
Studio locations: Santa Fe-NM / Asheville-NC.
